We have arrived! It took hours - circling Toronto in a storm for 30 minutes, and a delayed flight to NYC from Toronto, but we made it. We didn't get to see much on our drive from the airport to the Waldorf Astoria, but we're looking forward to tomorrow!
This hotel is absolutely amazing! I will post some photos that don't quite get across the opulence of our room, but I thought I would try. We have a 1 bedroom apartment in the Waldorf Towers of the Waldorf Astoria. Room 33F. We can see the Chrysler Building from our living room window. It seems odd to be staying in a hotel room that is MUCH larger than my home...
I will try to get some better photos of this hotel and the beauty of it.
We decided to go out to get some food at about 11 pm and were directed to a little restaurant/ pub a few blocks away. PJ something or others. We had a sandwich and soup and headed back here. The wireless internet is free in the lobby, so I am sitting here while Holly relaxes in the bath. Great way to start off our holiday!
